Pen Drive Format Problem Solution

Hi friends,Some time when you try to format your Pen drive then you show a error

"Windows was unable to format".

How to Format Your Pen Drive

Method 1

First method with Cmd.You can format your Pen drive using Commands.

1)At first go to Start->Run(you can go directly with use Windows key+R)type cmd.

2)Now you will find screen like this.

 3)Now type format k:/q (Here "K" is my pen drive latter).

4)Now press enter and follow instruction on screen.
5)It's done now.


Method 2

If 1st method is not working then use this 2nd method.In this method try Pen drive fomat in NTFS.

1)Right click on my computer icon and choose Device Manger.

2)Now select your Pen drive Under Disk Drives and choose Properties.

3)Now go to Policies Tab And choose there "Optimize for performance" 
and press Ok.

4)Now go to your pen drive icon and right click on it and choose Format.
5)Now Select NTFS under File System and Format it.

6)Your format will complete successfully.

Method 3

You can also try 3rd Method.Just try it to Format your Pen Drive.

1)At first open Run(windowsKey+r)and type diskmgmt.msc and press Enter.

2)Now right click on your pen drive Icon and select Format.

3)now Select Ok.Then your Pen drive will Surely Format.
